Kambaku Safari Lodge - Waterberg Plateau - Namibia Kambaku Safari Lodge - Waterberg Plateau - Namibia

Kambaku Safari Lodge is situated on the 7600 hectare Okariuputa game farm, only 25 km north of the Waterberg Nature Reserve. This is an area covered with big thorn bushes and Omborumbonga trees.

Located among beautiful shady trees and green grass the lodge was built from natural materials, linking it to its natural surroundings. The sparking blue pool invites you to take a plunge or just to enjoy the sun.

Dinner is served on the veranda at end of the day in the traditional way only our kitchen can provide. For cold evenings an inside fireplace will keep you warm and a bar as well as a small library are at your service.

Accommodation
As it is now time for dreamland, there are ten double rooms fitted in luxurious African style to provide you with all the comforts you need after a long day.

Wildlife
Wild animals are the main focus at Kambaku Safari Lodge. Eight different species of antelope, zebras, ostriches, as well as big cats, all pass through this natural paradise. Every stalk becomes an unforgettable experience because of the incredible diversity of the flora and fauna. A variety of eagle and vulture species, falcons, jackals, warthogs and wolves provide plenty of opportunities for exciting observations.

For those who enjoy photographing and filming nature, Kambaku provides an opportunity to dive deep into the incredible bio-diversity of southern Africa, capturing countless unique moments.

Lookout points and ground-level hides near the water-holes provide ideal conditions for getting close to the animals. The best time to enjoy the splendour of Namibia in all its colours and variety if from December to April, when rain and sun bathe the vegetation of the savannah in deepest green, huge numbers of flowers, bushes and trees burst into bloom and countless butterflies and other insects are on the move. This is the ideal setting for your photo shoot.
