Le Canonnier is located on a peninsula at the northern tip of the island. The breathtaking view over the islets of the north coast and the Port Louis mountain range is spectacular. Major renovations during 2005 have enhanced the authentic Mauritian atmosphere set off with overtones of African and Oriental décor. The hotel is set in seven hectares of tropical garden with relics of the past, a lighthouse,ruins of ancient fortifications and old cannons.

ACCOMMODATION
Rooms either overlook the lush tropical grounds and swimming pool or the beach and sea. All are air-conditioned and are equipped with an electronic safe, telephone, video channel, minibar and hairdryers. The rooms are built in crescents.
Standard garden facing rooms have shower, basin and toilet while the standard sea facing rooms have a bath, basin and toilet with a shower in the bath.
Superior Rooms
The larger superior rooms have bath, basin, toilet and separate shower. The popular family duplexes are split
level rooms which accommodate two adults and up to three children. The parents room is downstairs and a staircase leads to the open-plan loft bedroom.
The bathroom has a bath, basin and toilet with a shower in bath. A popular addition are the family apartments, each consisting of two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom
and TV. The parents’ room opens onto a spacious terrace area.
Four luxury suites are located at the ends of the crescents for more privacy. There is an open plan bedroom and lounge area.

RESTAURANTS
The main restaurant, Le Frangipanier, is set under thatch in the garden adjacent to the pool. Breakfast and dinner are served in a tropical environment and theme evenings are the main attraction.
Live cooking stations are a new highlight. Romantics will
choose Le Navigator a secluded restaurant overlooking the beach. Open for lunch and dinner daily except Mondays, guests may choose a set menu or à la carte dishes.
Guests are invited to a management cocktail on most Monday nights.
ALL IN ONE
For an optional daily rate per person, clients may choose an all-inclusive package covering lunch, snacks and a wide
selection of drinks. The All in One package is purchased in advance and must apply to all adults and children travelling
in a party for the entire length of stay.
