Otjibamba Lodge is a popular stopover for visitors on their way to northern Namibia and the Etosha National Park.
The owner-managed Lodge is ideally situated south of the town of Otjiwarongo along the B1 which runs from Windhoek to Etosha.

Otjibamba Lodge is tastefully designed in an afro-colonial style and furnished to match its natural surroundings. Rooms are laid out as air-conditioned chalets, which offer privacy, space and comfort.

Otjibamba's accommodation facilities are laid out as separate chalets. This arrangement allows for privacy and safe parking directly in front of the rooms.

The chalets are exceptionally spacious. Each double room has two double beds, an en-suite bathroom with WC, bath and shower, a desk, comfortable chairs and a veranda overlooking the pastoral landscape.

All rooms are air-conditioned and have telephone and TV facilities.

Otjibamba Lodge consists of a main building harbouring the reception area, a cosy lounge, reading room, curio shop, ladies bar and two restaurants.

Otjibamba Lodge is known for its superb cuisine and excellent menu. Meals are a la carte and apart from game specialities, the menu includes a choice for almost every taste. The wine list has also been recognised for a choice selection of South African wines.

The lounge and restaurant carries a charm of its own and leads to a wellkept garden and swimming pool. Children are welcome and a playground for them was also created.

Conference facilities are available and the main conference hall seats 40 persons.

Otjibamba Lodge lies within its own private game ranch of 220ha. Apart from harbouring typical Namibian game species such as giraffe, zebra, eland, oryx, blue and black wildebeest, kudu, ostrich and springbok, rare species like blesbok, njala, waterbuck and impala are also kept.

Visitors are encouraged to, either drive through the park, or to enjoy exploring one of the marked walking trails. The latter provides for an opportunity to view the animals on foot and this rather more personal contact with the wildlife adds to an extra special experience. The duration of walking trails vary between 15 minutes and 2 hours.

The indigenous trees along the walking trails are labelled for identification and the abundant bird life are equally enjoyed by many.

There is also a waterhole which lies directly in front of the lodge.
