Kurland – Garden Route Kurland – Garden Route

Kurland is undisputedly the most desirable address on the Garden Route
Established by Baroness Dianne Behr, on the family estate, just minutes from the finest beaches of Natures Valley and Plettenberg Bay . This luxury boutique hotel has just twelve rooms, so exclusivity is guaranteed. Ten of the rooms have adjoining loft rooms, which are specifically designed for children of all ages. Each room is unique, and superbly decorated to provide gracious comfort and the ultimate luxury for the entire family. The freedom of the majestic 700 ha polo estate, dedicated children's playrooms, play areas, pools and dining areas, and personalised service provides the ambience to ensure that the most discerning guest has an indulgent experience.

Weddings at Kurland

The Pavilion is available as a venue for wedding receptions, anniversaries and other functions in conjunction with the reservation of all twelve hotel rooms. There is no extra charge for the hire of The Pavilion. Room tariffs are contained in the Kurland brochure or here on our "Rates" page.
Kurland simply provides the use of The Pavilion (or its surrounding grounds) as a venue. All other services should be supplied by the wedding organizers e.g. crockery and cutlery, tables and chairs, staffing and catering, or a marquee (if the numbers are too large for The Pavilion itself). A full list of resources is available from Kurland to assist you in planning a function.

Decorated and spacious rooms
Kurland has twelve tastefully decorated and spacious rooms - designed to cater for the guests every comfort with large spaces, comfortable sofas and embossed linen on the beds.
Ceiling fans ensure that guests are kept cool in the hot summers and large fireplaces can be used in the winter months. The spacious bathrooms are equipped with heated towel rails and underfloor heating.
The rooms are individually styled and display some enviable objects d'art, antique furniture and original oil paintings.
For the convenience of guests all rooms have telephones, satellite television and mini bars. Eight of the rooms have private plunge pools.
Ten of the bedrooms have loft rooms especially designed for children.
